For us, durable and high-quality markings mean permanent, wear-resistant markings with a very long lifespan! We already give a 3-year warranty on our thermoplastic, wear-resistant lines and markings. This type of line marking is applied under high temperature and has a very long service life. If necessary, this type of marking can be removed again under the same high temperature.
Of course we also provide marking projects for schools, hospitals, provincial domains and (covered) sports fields. Our specialists come on-site to assess the situation, because every surface requires a different type of paint or technology.
Removing old lines is a necessary, but difficult task that can only be carried out with specialized material. After an on-site analysis, Q3-Facilities will remove the lines with high-pressure water jets, sandblasting, laser or tilling. Q3-Facilities uses a mechanical or dust-free blasting process for this without damage to concrete or epoxy floors. This is for both indoor and outdoor markings.
If the markings are no longer current, or need to be repainted, or if other changes need to be made to the road markings, the original ground marking must be removed. Water blasting is generally the most preferred method as it causes no damage and is effective. Sandblasting is similar in the removal process but may cause some damage to the pavement. Grinding is the second most preferred method as it is a simple process, effectively removes the marks and causes minimal damage to the underlying roads.
